Our next General Meeting will be held on Thursday 5th June at the Dunedin Central Police Station. Our general meetings cover a range of topics including a quick debrief of past operations, financial position and other important items. Everyone is welcome to attend. 4 surfers who were having a bit of fun with a jet ski just off the coast of Brighton, got into a spot of bother when a rope got sucked into the jet ski. 2 men tried to swim to shore. They called for help and 3 IRBs and 11 volunteers responded to rescue them. The surf was huge and 2 of our volunteers ended up going for a swim when their IRB flipped on a big wave.
